πŸ’œ For parents, an insight into the career of a son vs a daughter

For some decades, most parents did not differentiate their daughters from their sons when it comes to education. We always have seen many talks about such great parents like mine. With respect to career, mostly sons satisfy the parents but daughters struggle. Why?

Only some intelligent girls immediately after their studies put efforts to achieve their dream jobs and share its fruits with their parents before marriage. Some may miss that wonderful experience because of many reasons but mostly being innocent. Whatsoever every girl has to go through marriage and have kids. At some point they put their careers on hold to take care of their children. First child, then break, then work, again second child, then break, then work. Only highly focused women get back and strive to continue. Others stay back being great home makers.

After all this, if they wish to pursue higher studies, then they have to choose between their education and job. They have to choose only one because many parallel things are already going on in her life and if chosen both would land up neglecting home and kids and even fall into serious health issues. So most choose a career rather than higher education because they can't imagine a break to their earning again after so many breaks. But some accept this break again in career if highly focused on higher education. Among all these, wherever she is, she is a goddess struggling and compromising to satisfy her kids or her husband or her parents or herself.

Does your son encounter such a struggle? No, So be glad your daughter is working towards all these struggles, coping with all this and trying to succeed. Don't judge her as you have spent money to educate her. Just try to encourage her with her choice.

And now what if she has really overcome all this and has succeeded. Great right.  Celebrate her zeal, efforts, success and feel proud being her parents. ❤️
