Developing Emotional Intelligence - How important is it.

  We have got a lot of emotions in us.  We are not saints or sages not to have them right? Even if we are at the age of 25 or 45 or 65, we have got the remainder of life to make it pleasant. We all know that it is very difficult, rather not possible to change the attitude of others unless they wish to, but we can change our own attitude towards them by overcoming our emotions. Is this small logic not sufficient to make ourselves super pleasant and peaceful? It becomes our own responsibility to make the remainder of our life beautiful. Yeah, taking a few steps, we can absolutely fill our normal life with pleasantness and thus peacefulness.  It is very important for us to identify what emotions we are dominated with. It may be from the list of positive emotions that give pleasure while experiencing love, joy, satisfaction, interest, contentment, gratitude etc.? Or it may be from the list of negative emotions that give unpleasant feelings while experiencing fear, hatred, anger, resentment

Happiness

#malathierudition #Happiness has a lot of significance in our lives. We focus most of our life doing VERY BIG THINGS like setting up a business, getting a good job, earning lots of money, building a multi-storey house, achieving dreams/lifegoals etc. to accomplish such happiness . That’s really great but realizing that with VERY SMALL ACTIVITIES also we can achieve cent percent happiness is worth living our life to the fullest. We can define our own happiness. It's definition is different for each of us.  Right from morning till we go to sleep there are many things that can make us happy.  Waking our kids up with a sweet smile, greeting them a happy morning.  Embracing them after they return from school or after we return from work. Having a leisure dinner with family.  On Sunday, watching a movie on OTT or playing a game with our family.  Visiting a temple once in a while, sitting there for sometime peacefully with our family.  Talking on the phone with our parents at least for
